On July 25, 2020, 41-year-old Latiya Clea, a woman of African American ethnicity from Wyncote, PA, tragically lost her life. She was killed in her home by her husband, 57-year-old Frederick Clea, during a domestic incident. The incident occurred after an argument over a misplaced magazine for Frederick Clea's handgun. Latiya Clea suffered five gunshot wounds, while Frederick Clea's mother-in-law, 74-year-old Mekenda Saunders, was shot once in the chest.
