In the winter of 2011, a tragic event unfolded on the east side of Detroit, forever altering the lives of three families. On January 21st, 19-year-old Lynnell Baskin Jr., a male, was found shot to death inside a residence on Faircrest, near the intersection of Seven Mile Road and Hayes. He was not alone; two other young men, 22-year-old Jermaine and 24-year-old Leon Grice, also lost their lives in the violent encounter.
