Michael A. Incorvia, a 29-year-old male of Italian ethnicity from Brooklyn, Ohio, tragically died on March 14, 2014. He was found dead at his home in the 4700 block of Summer Lane, Brooklyn, along with his wife, Candice R. Incorvia, 31, in what was determined to be a suspected homicide-suicide. Both victims had been shot in the head.
The incident occurred after someone reported hearing shots fired in the basement of their home around 11:39 p.m.
The Brooklyn Police Department launched an investigation into the case, but no arrests were made as it was concluded that Michael A. Incorvia had taken his own life before shooting his wife.
The tragic event left behind their two children, Michael and Lex , as well as Alecia , Candice's daughter from a previous relationship. Michael A. Incorvia was remembered as a devoted father and husband, a passionate wrestling coach, and a quality control inspector for Aerocontrolx. He was also known for his love of restoration projects, motorcycles, and working on cars.
The community mourned the loss of Michael A. Incorvia, and a memorial mass was held at St. Clarence Church in North Olmsted, Ohio, to honor his memory. The family received an outpouring of support from friends and colleagues who remembered him fondly.
Despite the tragic circumstances, no further litigation or criminal investigations were pursued as the case was closed as a suspected homicide-suicide.
