Michael Davis, a 49-year-old man from Bedford Heights, Ohio, was tragically shot and killed in his front yard on June 25, 2014. Davis, who was known for his meticulous care of his yard, was confronted by his neighbor, Andre Jackson, over an argument about yard debris and drainage issues. The altercation escalated, and Jackson, who had a concealed carry permit, shot Davis three times with a .357 magnum revolver. Davis was pronounced dead at a local hospital shortly after the incident.
