George Dewberry, a 24-year-old male from Dayton, OH, tragically passed away unexpectedly on August 14, 2015. His death was part of a larger incident involving a double-shooting that occurred on August 20, 2015, just six days after his passing. The incident took place on Vina Villa Avenue in Dayton, where George Dewberry Sr., George Dewberry's father, shot and killed 27-year-old Jesse Pierce and seriously injured Laura Castro, Pierce's girlfriend.
