She was born on June 9, 1986, and was a graduate of East High School and Columbus State University. At the time of her death, she was working at Amazon. Jewel is survived by her mother, Maxine Rogers, her father, Julius Weber, and her daughters, Laiyla A. Pannell, Layonna Maxine Pannell Rogers, Mystique Powell, and Micayla Powell.
