Darien Hayes, a 22-year-old male of African American ethnicity from Cleveland, OH, tragically lost his life on January 25, 2017. Hayes was one of three men fatally shot in two separate incidents on Cleveland's east side that night. The first incident involved Carlos Hurt, who was shot while sitting in his vehicle. Hayes was killed in the second incident, which occurred shortly after, when he was found unresponsive on the sidewalk, bleeding and wearing a ski mask.
