Kathryn Barbara Stockdale, aged 54, tragically died on June 15, 2017, at her home outside of Bolivar, Ohio. She was born on November 19, 1962, in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Kathryn was a mother and a member of the Stockdale Family Band, a Christian bluegrass music group. Her death was part of a tragic incident that also claimed the life of her younger son, James Stockdale, aged 21.
