Gabriel Elverton, a 13-year-old boy from Akron, OH, tragically died on June 19, 2017, after being shot in the head while playing with a gun at a friend's house in Barberton, OH. Gabriel was taken to Summa Barberton Hospital and later transported to Akron Children's Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at 12:08 p.m.
