Gidget Talbert, a 45-year-old woman from Akron, Ohio, tragically lost her life on August 11, 2018. The incident occurred when her husband, Robert J. Talbert, shot her before leading police on a five-hour manhunt across Akron's southwest side. The manhunt ended when Robert was shot by officers and later died at Cleveland Clinic Akron General.
