Marshall McGrew, aged 17, was killed on June 14, 2012, in Detroit, Michigan. He was found at the intersection of Joy and Lauder Streets after being shot multiple times. Despite his critical injuries, Marshall managed to call his mother as he lay dying in an abandoned lot. The circumstances of the homicide remain unclear, with no suspects brought to justice, leaving his family without closure.
