On October 10, 2018, Tierra East, a 29-year-old woman from Cleveland, OH, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting. East and several family members were standing in the parking lot of a convenience store on Euclid Avenue when a red Dodge Dart drove by and began firing shots. East was struck in the chest and, despite being taken to the hospital, she succumbed to her injuries. Another woman, aged 23, was also injured in the shooting but survived with a gunshot wound to the elbow.
