Carnell E. Sledge, a 40-year-old African American man from North Olmsted, OH, was found dead on June 4, 2019, in the Rocky River Reservation. His death was part of a double homicide that also claimed the life of 33-year-old Katherine Brown. The bodies were discovered by two kayakers who happened to be passing by and called the police. Sledge was found outside in the grass off the Valley Parkway, while Brown's body was found in the water near the Valley Parkway. The cause of death for both victim ...
