On a tragic day in early September of 2012, the life of Sheree Day, a 42-year-old Black/African American woman, was cut short in her Detroit, Michigan home. On September 2nd, her own young daughter made the devastating discovery, finding her mother deceased inside their residence in the 18775 block of McCormick Street.
