Boston Isiah Ryder Wayn Bloomfield, an 18-year-old male from Seaman, Ohio, tragically passed away on August 25, 2020. The circumstances surrounding his death were initially unclear, but a thorough investigation was launched by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Highland County Task Force and the Highland County Prosecutor’s Office.
On August 24, 2024, nearly four years after Boston's death, authorities announced the
arrest of two men in connection with the murder. Jordan Comer, 22, and Latyran “Ty” Haithcock, 25, both of Hillsboro, were taken into custody. Arrest warrants were issued based on evidence linking them to the crime scene in the 200 block of Palmer Road in Seaman. The investigation revealed that Comer and Haithcock were allegedly involved in causing Boston's death.
The case is now under review by the Adams County prosecuting attorney, who will present the evidence to a grand jury. Both suspects are currently being held in separate county jails, awaiting further legal proceedings. The attorney general emphasized that the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
