Genaro Gray, a 31-year-old African American male from Cincinnati, OH, tragically lost his life on September 16, 2020. He was shot to death alongside his cousin, 30-year-old Javona Coleman, and her boyfriend, 27-year-old Darius Parker, inside an apartment building on Irving Street in the Avondale neighborhood. The bodies were discovered by children who were present in the apartment at the time. The incident was one of the most disturbing scenes officers had ever encountered.
