John JQ Quincy Bashline, a 37-year-old male of Caucasian ethnicity, tragically passed away on May 14, 2022, in Uhrichsville, Ohio. His death was the result of a shooting incident that occurred during a birthday party. Bashline was born on December 6, 1984, to Melissa Dickson and the late John Quincy Bashline. He is survived by his siblings Cody and Dakota Dickson, Joshua, Roman, and Sierra Bashline, as well as his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and several nieces and nephews.

The suspect in the shooting, 36-year-old Dalbert 'Dale' Sanders of Uhrichsville, was charged with involuntary manslaughter, reckless homicide, and using a firearm while intoxicated. Sanders, along with Michael Reynolds and his nephew Dominic Reynolds, was accused of placing Bashline's body in his car and leaving it along McKee Road in Dennison early Sunday morning. They claimed that Bashline's death was accidental and resulted from heavy drinking and mishandling firearms during the party.

During the investigation, it was revealed that Sanders shot Bashline while practicing quick draws with two handguns at a co-defendant's home. After being shot through a lung, Bashline told Sanders to get him to a hospital, but instead, Sanders instructed his co-defendants to put Bashline in the back of his car. They drove to a spot a block away from Dennison's Twin City Medical Center and left him there. Sanders also disposed of Bashline's cellphone and wallet in a pond along the way.

The case went to court, and Southern District Court Judge Brad Hillyer set Sanders' bond at $110,000. A preliminary hearing was scheduled, and the judge released Michael Reynolds and Dominic Reynolds on their own recognizance. Ultimately, Dalbert W. Sanders was sentenced to eight years in prison for his role in the incident. The judge and prosecutor noted that the shooting occurred after a night of drinking rum, beer, and using marijuana.

John JQ Quincy Bashline's death was a tragic and senseless loss, and his family and friends continue to mourn his passing.
