Linwood Jones, a 49-year-old man from Hookerton, North Carolina, tragically died on April 24, 2014. He was found dead at his home on North 7th Street after an altercation with two men who chased him and shot him in the back. Jones managed to reach his cousin-in-law's porch before collapsing and succumbing to his injuries. He left behind a 5-year-old son.
