Qutina Carter, a 32-year-old African American woman from Davidson, North Carolina, tragically lost her life on December 3, 2014. The incident occurred in Cabarrus County, where Qutina was fatally shot by her brother, Reginald Mercer. The shooting spree also resulted in the death of another family member, Albert Jackson Sr., and injuries to their mother, Brenda Jackson.
