In March of 2014, the city of Detroit was rocked by the discovery of the remains of 26-year-old Brittney Brown, a mother of two. Her body was found on March 22nd in a duffel bag in an alley on the city's west side, near Kentucky Street and Puritan Avenue. The discovery was made by a man who initially mistook the bag for a mannequin.
