Michael Scott Lassiter, a 34-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically died on September 1, 2016, in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. He was found shot to death in his mobile home at the Woodridge Mobile Home Park along with his father, James Beale, who was 59 years old. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. after a neighbor reported hearing a scuffle and gunshots. Both victims succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
