Shawte Shaniqua Williams, a 24-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on May 2, 2017, in Garysburg, North Carolina. Shawte, affectionately known as "Mama" and "Tae" by her family and friends, was a beloved mother of two young children, Shyelle Williams and Jayceon Cotton.
