Rickey Recardo Heckstall, a 35-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on November 26, 2017, in Bolton, North Carolina. The incident occurred early Sunday morning on Lizzie’s Drive in the Bolton community. According to the sheriff’s office, a 911 call was received shortly before 5 a.m. reporting a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Heckstall was taken by personal vehicle to the Domino’s Pizza off US 74 in Delco and then transported by ambulance to the hospital, where he later died.

His wife, Tamra Heckstall, who was pregnant with his child, mentioned that they had just gotten married the previous Tuesday. Rickey Heckstall was also the father of eight children.
