Dowell Gray, a 71-year-old man from Holly-ridge, NC, tragically lost his life on January 1, 2018. The incident occurred in North Topsail Beach, where Gray was fatally shot by McKinsey Britton, who was 28 years old at the time. Britton also killed his mother, Connie Britton, who was 56 years old.
