Rodney Bluesky Mills, a 33-year-old Native American man from Hollister, North Carolina, was found dead on April 11, 2018. His death was reported at approximately 1:25 a.m. Mills' death was later linked to Isaiah Kahleal Evans Caeser, an 18-year-old Marine who had been AWOL from the Marine Corps since April 2, 2018. Caeser was already in custody for the murder of his grandmother, Sally Copeland Evans, a 74-year-old woman whose body was found near Roanoke Rapids.
