Johnny Ray Izard Jr., a 25-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on May 4, 2018, in Lincolnton, North Carolina. This incident marked Lincolnton's first homicide since March 2014. Johnny was found lying on New Bold Street with an apparent gunshot wound and was transported to CaroMont Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
