Rayshon Carter, a 36-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 6, 2019, in Merry Hill, North Carolina. The incident occurred during a birthday party held at the Community Building in Merry Hill. According to reports, Carter was shot and subsequently transported to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, where he succumbed to his injuries.
