Kingmenmireseti Smith, a 14-year-old African American boy, was found shot to death near Sussman Park in Greensboro, North Carolina, on July 1, 2019. The Greensboro Police Department responded to an aggravated assault call around 5 a.m. and discovered Smith with gunshot wounds near the intersection of Sussman Street and Ashe Street.
