Maurice Johnson, a 40-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 18, 2020, in Detroit, Michigan. Johnson had just completed his shift at an oil change shop on Telegraph Road near Nine Mile Road and was walking to pick up his 2-year-old son from a relative's home.
