Arthur was involved in a domestic dispute with his stepson, Jason Allen Harkey, which led to his untimely death. According to reports, the altercation occurred at Arthur's home on Church Road in Midland. Despite efforts by emergency medical services, Arthur was pronounced dead at the scene.
