The incident was part of a devastating murder-suicide that claimed the lives of seven family members. The perpetrator, Larry Ray, 66, shot and killed his wife, Jeanie Ray, 67, before proceeding to her grandmother's house, where he killed Helen Mason, 93, and her cousins, Ellis Mansfield, 73, and Lisa Mansfield, 54.
