William George Bennett, a 34-year-old male from Randleman, NC, tragically lost his life on March 28, 2020. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. when police responded to a shooting at a residence on Booker T. Womble Road. Upon arrival, officers found Bennett lying on the floor in the front room of the home with a gunshot wound to the chest.
