Avion Imeen McLean, a 20-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 16, 2020, in Greensboro, North Carolina. The incident occurred outside the Guilford County Courthouse, where multiple individuals exchanged gunfire near the South Eugene Street entrance. McLean was one of three men shot during the altercation. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital, while another man remained in critical condition, and a third suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
