Anne Louise Seslar, a 74-year-old Caucasian woman, tragically died on January 24, 2021, in Bostic, North Carolina. Born on May 12, 1946, in Marysville, Ohio, Anne was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a 1964 graduate of Marysville High School and had a career as a beautician and food sales associate. Anne was also an active member of her community, participating in book clubs, Bible studies, and serving as president of the Airstream club, "Wally Byam Caravan Club Intl.".
Anne and her husband, Robert V. Seslar, were found dead in their home in the Summit Parkway Development, a gated community in Bostic. The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office conducted a welfare check after a family member from Florida reported not having heard from the couple for several days. Upon entering the home, deputies discovered the bodies of Anne and Robert in an upstairs bedroom. Evidence suggested that Robert, who had been suffering from mental health issues, had shot and killed Anne before taking his own life in an apparent murder-suicide.
