Marcus Obrian Young, a 30-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 16, 2021, in Spindale, North Carolina. The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. when a drive-by shooting was reported in the area of Academy Street. Upon arrival, officers found Young unresponsive in the front yard of a residence, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to render aid, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
