Levita Romane Webb, a 41-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on April 6, 2021, in Weldon, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at a residence on Chestnut Street. Webb, along with Dexter O'Neal Miles, a 52-year-old man from Garysburg, was found dead at the scene. A third individual, a man whose identity has not been disclosed, was also shot but survived and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
