TaeVeon Michael Ja’Quentin Young, a 23-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on January 31, 2022, in Carrboro, North Carolina. The incident occurred at approximately 11 PM at the entrance to the Bridges of Chapel Hill Apartments located off BPW Club Road. TaeVeon was visiting a friend who lived at the apartment complex when the shooting took place.
