In the early morning hours of a Monday in June 2016, the life of 21-year-old Erick Durham was tragically cut short in a triple homicide on Detroit's west side. The violent incident, which also claimed the lives of 25-year-old Deangelo Owens and 15-year-old Jaden Dorris, unfolded inside a house on Brace Street that authorities later described as a known location for narcotics activity. Police had reportedly raided the residence twice in the month leading up to the fatal shootings.
