Clovis Wayne J.R. Searcy Jr., a 33-year-old male of African American ethnicity, was a dedicated officer with the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office in Louisiana. On March 4, 2010, Corporal Searcy responded to an aggravated assault call on Browning Road in West Monroe. The suspect, identified as Michael Tanner, was reportedly attempting to run people over with his vehicle.
