DeLanzo Veal, a 48-year-old male, tragically died on June 23, 2018, in Oakdale, Louisiana. Veal was attending a birthday party in Beaver, Louisiana, when he was involved in a verbal altercation with another party attendee, Brandon Perkins. The altercation escalated, and Perkins left the scene momentarily before returning with a handgun. He fired three shots, two of which struck Veal in the chest and one in the arm. Veal was rushed to Oakdale Hospital but was later pronounced dead.
