The incident occurred in a murder-suicide that also claimed the lives of Skylar Kimble, a 23-year-old female, and Michael Dupont Jr., a 25-year-old male. According to police reports, Michael Dupont Jr. was the gunman who shot and killed his ex-girlfriend, Skylar Kimble, and her new boyfriend, Christopher Boudreaux, before taking his own life.
