On December 23, 2017, Girard Rochon, a 28-year-old man from Detroit, was killed in a shooting incident that occurred near a local establishment. The incident happened on a Saturday night at an event held in Detroit's Grand River area. The shooting also left several others injured. Despite law enforcement's attempts to investigate the crime, the case remains unresolved.
