Tanasa Ja'na Francis, a 20-year-old African American woman from Raceland, Louisiana, tragically lost her life on June 14, 2020. Tanasa was a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, LA. She passed away at 3:10 a.m. on that fateful Sunday. A public viewing was held on June 27, 2020, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Raceland, followed by her burial at Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery.
