Michael Thomas, a 29-year-old Black male from Washington, LA, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting on October 5, 2020, in the Morrow area of St. Landry Parish. The incident occurred on Cook Street at approximately 8:15 p.m. Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene, while another victim, Ladarious Keller, 20, of Morrow, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. A 19-year-old Bunkie man, who was also in the vehicle, was listed in stable condition, and a fourth occupant was not injured.
