In the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, a 20-year-old African-American man named Tyrone Hicks was fatally shot on the afternoon of January 12, 2008. The incident occurred around 4:10 p.m. in the vicinity of 1443 Dorchester Avenue in Fields Corner, where officers found Hicks suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
