In the late summer of 2008, the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston was unsettled by a grim discovery. On the morning of Monday, August 25th, the body of a 42-year-old African-American man named Troy West was found. He was seated on a bench in the King-Adams playground, a small park situated at the corner of Adams and King streets.
