On a warm Saturday afternoon, October 25, 2008, Garivaldis Pena, a 27-year-old Hispanic male, was fatally shot in front of his house at 101 Rossmore Road in the Parkside area of Boston. The brazen attack occurred around 3 p.m. as Pena was reportedly putting a car seat into his sister's vehicle.
