Mark Anthony Boitnott, a 47-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on February 17, 2022, in Slaughter, Louisiana. His body was discovered in a vehicle parked off the road near the intersection of highways LA 955 and LA 412 just after 6 a.m. on that fateful day. The East Feliciana Parish Coroner, Dewitt Bickham, determined that Boitnott's cause of death was from gunshot wounds, and the manner of death was ruled as a homicide.
