In the spring of 2009, the life of 17-year-old Jamayl Wilson, an African-American male, was tragically cut short on the streets of Boston. On the evening of April 9th, police responded to a report of a person shot at 101 Pleasant Street. Upon arrival, they found Wilson suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased, and his death was subsequently ruled a homicide.
