Michael Columbo, a 13-year-old boy from Elk Grove, Illinois, tragically lost his life on May 7, 1976. Michael, along with his parents, Frank and Mary Columbo, were brutally murdered in their home. The family was of Italian descent, and Michael was a student at Elk Grove Junior High School. The horrific crime shocked the local community and led to an extensive investigation.
